ASPM Throughput Analysis: Definitions of Variables

The following definitions define the fields in the ASPM reports of Throughput Analysis:

• Arrival Rate. Filter option limiting results to a minimum and maximum number of arrivals per unit of time.
• Arrivals (Max, 90th, 75th, 50th, Mean). The distribution of actual hourly arrivals expressed in terms of the maximum, 90th percentile, 75th percentile, 50th percentile (median) and average number of arrivals per hour.
• Count of Quarters. Count of quarters for the specified conditions on a selected date.
• Departure Rate. Filter option limiting results to a minimum and maximum number of departures per unit of time.
• Departures (Max, 90th, 75th, 50th, Mean). The distribution of actual hourly departures expressed in terms of the maximum, 90th percentile, 75th percentile, 50th percentile (median) and average number of departures per hour.
• Hour (From... To...). Filter option limiting results to specified hours of the day (00–23).
• Maximum per Hour (Departures, Arrivals, Operations). Maximum number of departures, arrivals, and total operations performed in the corresponding count of hours.
• Runways. Filter option limiting results to runway configurations for the airport selected.
• Total (Departures, Arrivals, Operations). Total number of departures, arrivals, and total operations handled for the time period and conditions specified.
• Total (Max, 90th, 75th, 50th, Mean). The distribution of actual hourly total operations (arrivals and departures) expressed in terms of the maximum, 90th percentile, 75th percentile, 50th percentile (median) and average number of operations per hour.
• Total Rate. Filter option limiting results to a minimum and maximum total number of operations (Arrivals + Departures) per specified unit of time.
• Weather. Weather conditions expressed in terms of visibility and cloud ceilings. They can be either IMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions) or VMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions.
• Weather Conditions (All, IMC, VMC). Filter option limiting results to specific weather conditions expressed as IMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions), VMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions), or All (both IMC and VMC).
