ASPM Diversions: Definitions of Variables

The following definitions define the fields in the ASPM reports of ASPM Diversions. Please note that the date and time fields are presented in local time relative to the time zone at the planned destination airport. They can be translated to GMT by applying the appropriate GMT offset for the planned destination airport.

  • ACID. Aircraft identification code.
  • Aircraft Type. Four-character code identifying the type of aircraft. Also available as filter option for choosing the aircraft code.
  • Arrival Date/Time. Actual date and time of arrival at the diversion airport based on the time zone of the planned destination airport.
  • Carrier. Three-letter code identifying the carrier.
  • Center. The center in which the diversion occurred.
  • Departure Date/Time. Actual date and time of departure based on the time zone of the planned destination airport.
  • Diversion Airport. Three- or four-letter code identifying the airport to which the flight was diverted.
  • Diversion Date/Time. The date and time of the TFMS message in which the arrival airport is different from the arrival airport of the previous TFMS message, based on the time zone of the planned destination airport.
  • Equipment Suffix. A suffix to the aircraft type providing information about the on-board, certified equipment. See FAA's Airport Equipment Suffixes.
  • Flight Count. On the Diversions Summary Report, the number of diverted flights.
  • Origin. Three- or four-letter code identifying the airport of departure.
  • Planned Destination. Three- or four-letter code identifying the planned arrival airport.
  • Recovery Arrival Date/Time. The date and time that the flight arrived at the planned destination airport, based on the time zone of the planned destination airport.
  • Recovery Departure Date/Time. The date and loal time that the flight departed from the diversion airport bound for the original planned destination airport, based on the time zone of the planned destination airport.
  • Sector. The sector in which the diversion occurred.
