ABOUT ATADS
Air Traffic Activity Data System
The Air Traffic Activity Data System (ATADS)
contains traffic counts for towered airports, TRACONS, CERAPS, and
centers. Instrument approach counts are also maintained. Daily, monthly and annual counts are available
either by facility, state, region, service area or nationally.
Data is available for the prior month by the 20th of each month.
Operations are drawn from the Operations Network (OPSNET) system which is the
current official source for this data. This system does not require a
username and password to access.
Instrument Operation rollup totals have been modified as of
12/5/2006
All VFR tower and federal contract tower Instrument
Operations have been removed from all system rollup totals as of
12/5/2006. This change affects the data from October 1989 through the
