ABOUT ASQP
The Airline Service Quality Performance System (ASQP) contains data provided by the airlines by flight for airlines that carry at least 1% of all domestic passengers. The number of airlines providing data has varied from 10 to 20. Actual and scheduled time is available for gate departure and gate arrival. The airlines also provide the actual wheels-off time so that taxi-out time can be computed and wheels-on time so that taxi-in time can be computed. In addition, the airlines provide causal data for all flights arriving 15 minutes past their scheduled arrival time. The data is available from June 2003 and is updated on a monthly basis. The causes of delay categories are Airline, Extreme Weather, National Aviation System, Security, and late arriving flight.
